Officials have warned that the “mother of all caravans” is preparing to assault the southern border of the United States — a mob of up-to 20,000 illegal immigrants and their families.
And President Donald Trump is speaking out, calling on Mexico to shut it down… as well as other illegal immigration problems.
Or else Trump says he will close the nation’s southern border, or large sections of it, next week if Mexico does not act.
In a tweet Friday, Trump ramped up his repeated threat to close the border by saying he will do it next week unless Mexico takes action.
The DEMOCRATS have given us the weakest immigration laws anywhere in the World. Mexico has the strongest, & they make more than $100 Billion a year on the U.S. Therefore, CONGRESS MUST CHANGE OUR WEAK IMMIGRATION LAWS NOW, & Mexico must stop illegals from entering the U.S….

….through their country and our Southern Border. Mexico has for many years made a fortune off of the U.S., far greater than Border Costs. If Mexico doesn’t immediately stop ALL illegal immigration coming into the United States throug our Southern Border, I will be CLOSING…..

….the Border, or large sections of the Border, next week. This would be so easy for Mexico to do, but they just take our money and “talk.” Besides, we lose so much money with them, especially when you add in drug trafficking etc.), that the Border closing would be a good thing!

The president called on Congress to immediately change what he said were “weak” U.S. immigration laws, which he blamed on Democrats.
He says it “would be so easy” for Mexico to stop illegal immigration, which would also strike a blow to drug-trafficking.
What do you think? Should Trump shut down the southern border if Mexico can’t stop the “mother of all caravans” that is heading north?
