President Donald Trump hasn’t forgotten his “Apprentice” tagline, “You’re fired,” and he may be ready to utter it again — and hire a popular Fox News anchor instead!
First it was ousted FBI Director James Comey, and now there’s speculation in Washington that Press Secretary Sean Spicer could be next.

The New York Times reported that Trump is dissatisfied with many of his top aides, specifically Spicer, “according to a half dozen West Wing officials who said the president was considering the most far-reaching shake-up of his already tumultuous term.”
And now the President could be eyeing one leading Fox News host to take over: Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Guilfoyle is the quick-witted co-host of Fox News’ “The Five” and was rumored to be a top contender for the press secretary position before Trump announced Spicer as his official pick.
The speculation of a replacement is supported by Trump’s failure to inform Spicer of Comey’s firing, a decision reportedly made out of fear that his staff would leak the intel. This lack of information led to the embarrassing episode in which Spicer allegedly hid among the bushes to avoid the press.
Trump began toying with the idea of cancelling press briefings all together out of frustration of “fake news” and failures of his administration to disseminate completely accurate information to the media.
As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!….

…Maybe the best thing to do would be to cancel all future "press briefings" and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy???

He reiterated that suggestion in an interview with Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro Saturday, explaining why accuracy is so important in this modern age of “fake news.”
“They asked 100 questions or 50 questions or 20 questions. If they get one out of 50 just a little bit off, 5 percent, 10 percent, 20 percent, the next day it’s a front-page story in every newspaper.”
He acknowledged the difficulty of the press secretary position, “And if they get it just a little bit wrong, they don’t mean to, they’re liars, they’re liars, they’re horrible people, they’re liars, the press goes. And it becomes a big story for two days or three days. And it’s very, very unfair to a person in that job. I think that’s really a tough job, to be honest,” he told Pirro.

While it’s unclear exactly what Trump plans to do, one thing is certain: He isn’t happy with the way the press is interpreting Spicer.
Do you think Kimberly Guilfoyle would be better suited than Spicer to take on the press?
