Former President Donald Trump was famously banned from social media in the aftermath of the 2020 election and Capitol Hill riot.
But quiet rumors are circulating that the former president may have returned to the social media platform ahead of schedule…
And he may be doing it in the most incognito way possible.
Trump’s former attorney and advisor Jenna Ellis teased the idea that Trump is using a secret Twitter “fan” account to covertly keep active on the social media site. She hinted at how much the supposed fan account — called @ilDonaldoTrumpo — interacts with her political posts.
“I love that @ilDonaldoTrumpo retweets me as much as @realDonaldTrump did,” Ellis wrote. “Coincidence? I think not, fellow Patriots.”

The @ilDonaldoTrumpo account she referenced features the former president with a thick mustache cut and pasted onto his image.

Some critics think it’s unlikely that the parody account is being operated directly by the former president — but the account has a large following of those who are most likely major Trump supporters.
Conservative pundit Wayne Dupree writes that while it may not be the former president himself, it could very well be someone that Jenna Ellis knows, or someone that’s a part of the Trump circle.
What do you think?
Do you think Donald Trump is behind the "fan" account?
