President Donald Trump and his top envoy to the U.N. just delivered a stunning blow this week to thuggish dictator Kim Jong Un — and there’s likely more coming.
“It was a gut-punch to North Korea, to let them know the international community is tired of it and we’re going to start fighting back. Every dollar of revenue that the North Korean government gets, they’re not feeding their people with it,” U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told Fox News on Monday,” in reference to the sweeping U.N. sanctions. “They’re using it toward a nuclear weapons system.”
“Going after these sanctions is going after their ability to build these missiles,” Haley concluded.
Trump also suggested these harsh sanctions are just the beginning of the United States “get tough” policy for the reclusive communist country.
After many years of failure, countries are coming together to finally address the dangers posed by North Korea. We must be tough & decisive!

Of course, Kim Jong Un has expressed his continuing commitment to his nuclear and ballistic missile program, and in the past the nation has survived weaker sanctions.

But Haley says the sanctions force Kim to rethink his “endgame.”
She said: “He has to decide. If he strikes the United States, is that something he can win?”
