After Oprah’s campaign-like speech at the 75th Golden Globes on Sunday, the mainstream media whipped itself into a frenzy.
Major news outlets like The Washington Post and CNN celebrated Oprah’s alleged entrance into the 2020 presidential race as if it were the second coming of the Messiah.
Within 24-hours, though, Oprah’s short-lived life in the political spotlight has reportedly come to a screeching halt.
Conservative critics were quick to jump on the daytime talk queen’s record. The Horn News reported Monday that Oprah has lived a secret “second life” and her father is “ashamed” of her actions.
New York Times bestselling author Sebestian Gorka tweeted out a brilliant comparison as well —
Priceless.

Other social media users were quick to point out Oprah’s incredibly close relationship with disgraced liberal Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, whose sexual assault scandal created a wave of #MeToo accusations.
Just hours after Oprah’s speech on female empowerment, the hashtag #SheKnew quickly spread and became trending on Twitter —

In the face of this withering criticism, Oprah has quickly retreated from her moment in the political spotlight.
It seems President Donald trump has already beaten Oprah — and he didn’t even have to lift a finger to do so.
Tuesday, the billionaire talk show mogul began denying her intentions to run to anyone who would listen —
NEW: A source close to @Oprah tells @tvkatesnow as of today, she has no intention of running for President in 2020:
“It’s not happening. She has no intention of running,” the source said.
Source says that’s from Oprah herself.— Peter Alexander (@PeterAlexander) January 8, 2018
Bloomberg is also reporting that Oprah is denying she has intentions to run.
Seems like Oprah couldn’t bear the burden for a single day… even with the media on her side!
