President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., have spent most of the past three years in a political brawl.
But with the Chinese coronavirus pandemic in full swing, the two political leaders have put aside their differences in recent days and have engaged in a rare display of bipartisanship.
And Trump even had something generous to say about Pelosi’s recent appearance on MSNBC: Not bad!
Pelosi appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Tuesday and declined to attack the president’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States.
Instead, when asked to criticize the president’s response to the Wuhan virus pandemic, the Democratic leader called for cooperation and bipartisanship in a dangerous time — and Trump agreed.
“I would join those, whether it’s the governors, the mayors, people across the country who are saying: We need the equipment, the personal protective equipment for the workers, the ventilators and other equipment for the patients. We need proper testing, testing, testing,” Pelosi said.
“So I would say to the president: Immediately, implement the Defense Production Act, insisting that businesses in our country turn and produce the equipment that we need,” she continued. “The American people … are united in that recognition of that need. It will save lives.”
“We’re asking people to risk their lives to save other lives, we’re asking people to make judgments about who gets a ventilator or not,” Pelosi said. “That should not be happening. One thing that we could do, that we all agree on, Democrats and Republicans alike: PPE, personal protection equipment, as well as the equipment to save the patients’ lives.”
Trump responded with a dig at MSNBC’s ratings… but said Pelosi “wasn’t bad” and they were both praying for America together.
I watched a portion of low rated (very) Morning Psycho (Joe) this Morning in order to see what Nancy Pelosi had to say, & what moves she was planning to further hurt our Country. Actually, other than her usual complaining that I’m a terrible person, she wasn’t bad. Still praying!

Pelosi and Trump, along with other Democratic and Republican leaders, are currently negotiating a fourth coronavirus relief bill.
Trump has called for the bill to include help for workers, as well as a start to an ambitious project to rebuild America’s aging infrastructure systems.
With interest rates for the United States being at ZERO, this is the time to do our decades long awaited Infrastructure Bill. It should be VERY BIG & BOLD, Two Trillion Dollars, and be focused solely on jobs and rebuilding the once great infrastructure of our Country! Phase 4
