Fox News star Mark Levin has been one of President Donald Trump’s most loyal warriors in conservative media for years.
This week, he turned the administration he has defended for a decade, and now Trump’s own White House advisers are firing back.
In a stunning 17-minute attack on his Saturday’s edition of the “Life, Liberty & Levin” show on Fox News, an angry Levin broke with the administration.
“I’m going to start the program where I’d rather not start, but I must,” Levin said. “I want to say to people in and out of the administration: stop trashing, smearing, bullying the little state of Israel. Stop cozying up to and telling us that the enemy regime in Iran is now more rational, more moderate, and a regime that we can deal with.”
Though Levin avoided naming Trump directly, the president has recently called Iran’s leaders “very rational” and said they are “nice to deal with.”
“I think it’s outrageous,” Levin said. “We used to see the Secretary of War and the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff daily here on Fox tell us of the fantastic marriage, the symmetry between our militaries in defeating this enemy. I’m really appalled by this. And I hope it comes to an end sooner than later. Because it’s not right, it’s not just and it’s not truthful.”
He closed with a prediction that the Iranian regime will simply wait the deal out.
“The biggest problem is the enemy. The enemy hasn’t surrendered. It’s never going to surrender,” Levin said. “They’ll agree to this for a period of time. They’ll take all the benefits they can get. After they get the $300 billion, however long that takes, then they can thumb their nose at us and say, ‘What are you going to do about what we’re about to do?'”
It has followed days of attacks by Levin, a longtime MAGA supporter that has turned into a harsh critics. Last week, Levin had publicly demanded the administration release the full text of the MoU rather than briefing select reporters.
“I have asked for days, why can’t we, the people, see the damn MoU?” Levin demanded. “Not through people briefed by an anonymous person. Honestly, I’ve never seen anything like this. If it is a great outcome for peace, then release it.”
The fight has escalated into a public feud with Trump’s own team. Alex Bruesewitz, a senior Trump adviser, confronted Levin and accused him of acting in the interests of a foreign power.
