Socialism is supposed to be the political philosophy of the poor—but the greatest leaders of in America’s “democratic socialist” movement are cleaning up while pretending they care about the down and out.
Think we’re exaggerating? The gravy train includes virtually everybody who became a nationally known socialist — from politicians, to entertainers, to total nobodies who practically just popped onto the scene.
The latest example is a TikTok “star” who goes by the name…
“Neekolul,” TikTok radical
Neekolul struck a nerve with younger people who hate their parents and grandparents by dancing to a song that mocked Baby Boomers, called “OK Boomer.”
The social media influencer, whose real name is Nicole Sanchez, went on to announce that she supported Bernie Sanders for president in 2020 and to pose with a shirt that says, “Tax the Rich.” It turns out, she is actually very rich.
She posted a video on YouTube showing off her new, luxury apartment—that cost her a cool, capitalist $2 million.
Now that she’s a millionaire, of course, she said she didn’t mean HER.
“I think when people mean like, ‘Tax the rich,’ I think at the end of the day they do mean, like, billionaires and people who have insane, unfathomable amounts of wealth,” she said.
She doesn’t want to tax people who can afford modest $2 million dollar apartments and everyday BMW luxury sports cars. Just people more wealthy than her.

Patrisse Cullors, BLM founder
One of the three co-founders of Black Lives Matter, Patrisse Cullors, has said that she’s a “trained Marxist.” She wants to overturn the “nuclear family” and redistribute the wealth between rich and poor, white and black, Americans and foreigners.
She also decided to redistribute a little wealth to herself. Since founding the BLM organization, she has bought multiple properties worth more than $3.2 million.
She may think Black Lives Matter, but green is the color that does the talking.
Cynthia Nixon
You might remember the stunning redhead from her role in “Sex and the City,” where she made a bundle of money.
She cleaned up on the hit show, piling up an estimated net worth of $60 million, according to financial sources.
But some 2018, Nixon ran for governor of New York state as a “democratic socialist.” During the campaign, she misspelled the name of the city Ithaca (as “Ithica”)–and she called ICE a “terrorist organization.”
Of course, she’ll still be living in the lap of luxury, surrounded by walls and security.
Michael Moore
Remember “documentary” filmmaker Michael Moore? He cleaned up at the box office (if not in the shower), raking in cash with his movie Fahrenheit 9/11. He made another movie talking about the glories of socialized medicine in Cuba.
But when it comes to his private life, he enjoys owning things—like nine properties, including a Manhattan condo he made by cramming three separate apartments into one and a 10,000-square-foot home in Michigan.
“He traveled the country by private jet, accompanied by a fleet of private SUVs and bodyguards,” wrote Peter Schweizer in his book Do As I Say Not As I Do.
His estimated net worth is Fahrenheit $50 million.
Mark Ruffalo
Actor Mark Ruffalo from The Avengers movies is a Bernie Bro who has said, “Capitalism today is failing us, killing us, and robbing from our children’s future.” But it’s not robbing Ruffalo.
His movies have earned a total of $400 million… and he’s managed to squirrel away a modest $20 million of his own.
As for Comrade Ruffalo’s home, he just sold his apartment for $3 million…and started looking at apartments that cost $10 million. It looks like he wants to buy his own, modest worker’s paradise.
Bernie Sanders
The most important name on the list of socialists who have cleaned up is Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who has led numerous campaigns for president of the United States.
Sanders is a diehard true believer in socialism — and has been since before the fall of the Berlin Wall. He praised the culture and beauty of Communist Russia, and he was fruebdkt with a bloody Communist dictator named Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua.
Even in his 2020 campaign, he couldn’t stop praising Fidel Castro’s Cuba for its “literacy programs.” But Sanders is a millionaire who owns three houses… and he’s not giving up any of them for you peasants.
Socialists always say they just want to help the poor but, as this list shows, socialists mostly help themselves to their share of the poor’s wealth.
