Former Vice President Joe Biden will be announcing his official 2020 bid for the White House this Wednesday, according to The Atlantic.
Sources close to the Democratic insider say a campaign video will be released formally announcing Biden’s campaign launch.
The long-time Obama pal has been rumored to run for quite some time, and it seemed as though he was waiting to announce until after special counsel Robert Mueller’s report dropped.
With that media blitz behind him, Biden will look to energize his profile.
Is the third time the charm?
Never mind the fact that radical lefties don’t even want him running and the fact that he’s out of touch with a significant portion of his base.
And never mind his weird if not damning accusations of smelling women, affectionately touching women… or whatever it is that he’s into.
The 76-year-old isn’t getting any younger, and Democrats have one of the weakest field of candidates for president seen in quite some time.
According to Biden insiders, he feels the time is now.
Whether or not the announcement will energize his 2020 title hopes in the eyes of voters remains to be seen. Biden recently dipped below Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-V.T., in a poll among Democratic candidates.
Some political experts say this is shaping up to be a two-horse race coming down the stretch, with Biden to focus on gaining back the midwest and Sun Belt — areas that Democrats largely ignored in 2016.
