It was a ride they’ll never forget…
A group of Houston students on a field trip to Galveston were left dangling nearly upside down for hours after a malfunction on the Iron Shark roller coaster at the city’s Pleasure Pier.
The ride boasts that it reaches nearly 100 feet in the air, and the students had nearly reached the top when the ride went haywire. Eight students were stuck in the terrifying position for more than three hours while rescue crews worked to free them.
