In the absence of former President Donald Trump on major social media platforms, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-T.X. has emerged as a leading voice challenging the radical left.
And Wednesday, he gave out what may have been his most brutal takedown yet.

He responded to an attack from MSNBC’s Joy Reid with a sharp comeback… stunning the liberal host.
REid launched a scathing assault on the Texan politician when she referred to him as “Stephen from Django” for betraying the Latino race. Cruz called the attack a racial slur — and demanded to know if NBC News stood by such language.
The character Stephen in the movie “Django Unchained” was a slave that dutifully served a cruel slavemaster.
The alleged slur came during a recent MSNBC segment about the Democrats’ plans to overhaul the U.S. voting system.
“What you see here on your screen,” she said, pointing to her colleagues of color on screen, “is what Republicans fear in the voting booth, and they’re going to do everything they can to make sure it doesn’t happen, including Stephen from ‘Django Unchained,’ a.k.a. Ted Cruz who’s working to stop fellow people of color from voting… ”

She also doubled down with her deranged belief that Republicans are petrified at the sight of Black people and want to prevent each and every one of them from voting. pic.twitter.com/NgbUeLmGZI

The veteran senator had something to say about that.
“I appreciate MSNBC lecturing me on how people of ‘my race’ are supposed to vote,” Cruz wrote on Twitter. “This arrogant condescension is a big reason Hispanic voters are moving right in large numbers.”

“Also, why is MSNBC ok with their hosts using overt racial slurs (“Stephen from Django”)?”

MSNBC isn’t exactly trying to hide the fact that Joy Reid and other hosts have launched plenty of racially charged attacks on Republicans in recent years.
She has gone after both Justice Clarence Thomas, calling him “Uncle Thomas,” and also Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and labeled him the “token” of the GOP.

But Cruz wasn’t done.
He later followed with more sharp words.
“Today’s Left routinely condones bigotry & racism,” he wrote.
