A top ally of former President Donald Trump had his Washington, D.C. home and business raided by the SWAT team.
Again.
Conservative commentator Steve Bannon was “swatted” during a live broadcast, it was reported Thursday morning.

An anonymous prankster called the police with a fake tip of a shooting to draw armed police into Bannon’s house. Bannon was live on-air at the time hosting his popular War Room podcast.
Such calls are dangerous because police enter under false pretenses that someone inside is armed and dangerous.
“At approximately 10:32am, MPD responded to the 200 block of A Street NE, for the report of a shooting,” D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department said. “Preliminarily, this appears to be a false call. MPD searched the area and nothing was found.”
This has become a pattern for Bannon, the former head of conservative Breitbart News and advisor to the Trump White House.
The 69-year-old conservative activist was raided by police in 2021 when an anonymous called reported “of an individual with a mental health crisis” that had already shot someone.
