Between a high-speed rail to nowhere – and funds for the homeless that magically disappear — California can’t decide what to waste taxpayer money on next.
But this latest scandal may take the cake…
California serial killer and death row inmate Sammy Amador recently admitted that prisoners are using taxpayer-funded computer tablets to watch pornography.
Another inmate, a convicted serial rapist, confirmed Amador’s account to Fox News, saying the security measures on the tablets are basically non-existent.
California has spent millions of taxpayer dollars on these tablets, promising they would help prisoners stay in touch with families, rehabilitate, and even get an education.
Oh, they’re getting an education, all right…
Putting pornography in the hands of convicted murderers, rapists, and pedophiles – what could go wrong?
Watch a clip of Amador’s stunning confession below.
California death row inmate Sammy Amador tells us that more than half of the men in his prison are watching porn on state-issued digital tablets. "You get 30-second clips … you can get your family barbecuing, porn, whatever."
