Stormy Daniels wants your vote (yes, really)

Thanks to her unproven accusations against President Donald Trump, adult film star Stormy Daniels has seen her celebrity status skyrocket.

Now, when asked about her longterm goals, the 39-year-old porn star says she’s eyeing a White House run — which means, as a Republican, she’ll need conservatives to vote for her.

In a bizarre interview with The Chicago Tribune, Daniels complained about the political sideshow her stripclub shows have become while also musing about her Oval Office ambitions.

“This didn’t start with a political agenda,” she claimed. “I think it’s really funny that most people don’t even know that I’m Republican. They make it political in the same way that they have to put porn star in front of my name. If I was a librarian, it wouldn’t be: Librarian Stormy Daniels.”

Daniels goes on to say that she didn’t bother to vote in the 2016 presidential election, but think she “might win” if she ran in 2020. The Tribune wrote —

She said she thinks every day about the legacy she could leave for her daughter. She wants to inspire other people to stand up for other people, she said.

“What about the bigger picture?” she said.

The White House did not respond to Tribune requests for comment Saturday evening.

Daniels does not think she alone can shut down the Trump presidency.

“Do I have the power?” she asked. “Absolutely not.”

And then she added: “I think that they’ll be their own downfall if that happens.”

Daniels said she has no plans to run for office. It’s ridiculously expensive to run a campaign and the person best suited to represent the people probably would never get elected, she said.

She said running for office is generally too expensive and time consuming. She’s only interested in the White House.

“I don’t know… should I run for president?” she asked with a laugh.

“The terrifying thing is I might win.”
