Hamza Bin Laden, son of the infamous Osama Bin Laden, is dead according to U.S. officials.
Bin Laden was killed in a slew of airstrikes, although the date and time of his death being kept under wraps by the Pentagon, the BBC reports.
In the interest of secrecy, NBC News and CNN are reporting that U.S. officials are not answering questions on whether or not American forces were involved.
When asked about Bin Laden’s death, President Donald Trump was also tight-lipped.

“I don’t want to comment on it. I don’t want to comment on that. Thank you very much, everybody,” Trump said when asked.
Bin Laden was primed to follow in the footsteps of his father, the founder of the radical Islamic terror group Al Qaeda and the mastermind of the Sep. 11, 2001 attacks in New York City.
The younger son had recently become the heir apparent to the Islamic terror group — and a top target of U.S. forces.
“He has released audio and video messages on the Internet, calling on his followers to launch attacks against the United States and its Western allies, and he has threatened attacks against the United States in revenge for the May 2011 killing of his father by U.S. military forces,” the State Department said at the end of February.
“His father was killed by U.S. Navy SEALs in Pakistan in 2011,” The USA Today reported. “Letters found by the Navy SEALs during the raid on his hideout showed that Hamza had asked his father to train him to follow in his footsteps, and that the elder bin Laden was preparing him for the role.”
