A growing feud between Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., and a Teamsters Union boss nearly ended in a fistfight inside a Senate hearing.
The shocking video of the confrontation quickly went viral.
Teamsters president Sean O’Brien had previously said on social media that Mullin was a fake “cowboy” and that he’d fistfight the Oklahoma senator “anyplace, anytime.”
In response, Mullin challenged O’Brien to a Mixed Martial Arts competition for charity. O’Brien backed down.

Mullin asked O’Brien when they were face-to-face at a Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee hearing if he’d still like to tussle.
“Sir, this is a time; this is a place,” Mullin said. “You want to run your mouth? We can be two consenting adults. We can finish it here.”
“OK, that’s fine, perfect,” O’Brien said.
“You want to do it now?” Mullin replied.
“I’d love to do it right now,” O’Brien said.
“Then stand your butt up then,” snapped Mullin.
“You stand your butt up,” said O’Brien.
Mullin, a former professional cage fighter, rose out of his chair and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-V.T., had to order Mullin to remain calm.
“Stop it! No, no, sit down! You know, you’re a United States senator,” Sander said, banging his gavel as Mullin stood to accept O’Brien’s challenge.
