The mainstream media will do ANYTHING to try to ruin President Donald Trump — even if it involves exploiting the death of a young child.
A 7-year-old girl looking to enter America tragically died last week. And the press ran wild with stories that she had starved to death, and even placed blame on Trump and Border Patrol agents.
But you won’t believe who is calling out the press on their lies — the girl’s father, who accompanied her on the trip from Guatemala, and even some anti-Trump reporters.
As The Associated Press first reported, lawyers for 29-year-old Nery Gilberto Caal Cuz said he made sure his daughter, Jakelin, had plenty of food and water during the trip.
When Cuz and his daughter were taken into custody in New Mexico, he also apparently signed a form saying that she was not ill.
It was during a 90-minute ride on a Border Patrol bus that Jakelin got sick, developing a high fever and vomiting. And extensive efforts were made to save her life.
Jakelin was airlifted to a children’s hospital and revived twice before she died.
In fact, CNN, perhaps the most anti-Trump media outlet in America, is leading the charge in declaring stories about the girl’s death as “fake news.”
CNN interviewed a high-ranking Guatemalan diplomat. And, as CNN anchor Jake Tapper tweeted, Cuz has “no complaints about how Border Patrol agents treated him and his daughter.”
“The consul says the father told him that agents did everything they possibly could to help the girl on the bus,” Tapper added.
If you’re waiting for dozens of press outlets to retract their stories and issue apologies, don’t hold your breath.
Their articles are designed to harm Trump and his administration.
And these so-called journalists don’t care if they have to lie about a poor girl’s tragic death to do it.
