The Horn News reported Monday on a growing scandal surrounding former President Barack Obama and his alleged involvement in spearheading political investigations against President Donald Trump and his team.
A staunch Trump supporter, Fox News’ Sean Hannity spent his show that night warning Obama and his former allies.
Hannity is suggesting the former president should be very worried.
And he also revealed more developments: Obama-era officials are quickly contacting legal help in the face of the scandal.
“Many current and former officials, they have reason to be worried,” Hannity said. “My sources [are] telling me tonight that some of them have now lawyered up with the biggest names and most expensive lawyers in Washington, D.C.”
It seems Obama officials know they’re heading to court.
Hannity suggested that the behind-the-scenes commotion started after Obama himself issued a subtle warning.
The Horn News previously reported on a private audio leak in which Obama discussed the Department of Justice’s decision to exonerate former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Obama complained the move risked “the rule of law.”
Hannity said this call was a quiet warning for anti-Trump Deep State officials.
“Sounds like Obama might have been sending out warnings,” the Fox News star said. “The message has gone out: Protect your own. Protect the deep state.”
As of Monday, almost 2,000 former Department of Justice officials signed a letter to Attorney General William Barr demanding he resign for dropping Flynn’s charges.
“Perhaps they know what’s coming,” Hannity said of the letter. “Maybe that’s why nearly 2,000 former DOJ employees signed a letter blasting AG Barr for dropping charges against Flynn.”
Trump vowed to “drain the swamp” in the 2016 election. The appointment of AG Barr was a monumental part of that effort.
It took some years, but it seems the tide is turning and the truth about the Deep State is surfacing.
Not only were they trying to “upend a duly elected president” in Trump, but now they’re going after Barr to try and save themselves, Hannity said.
