Outspoken Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) introduced a shocking resolution yesterday to expel fellow Republican Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) from the lower chamber over ongoing allegations of domestic violence, sexual misconduct, stolen valor, and profiteering from federal contracts as a member of Congress.
Mills has been under investigation by the House Ethics Committee since November, when an effort by Mace to censure the congressman failed, and the number of allegations against the Florida Republican were referred to the panel.
“The swamp has protected Cory Mills for far too long and we are done letting it slide,” Mace said in a statement.
“We tried to censure him and strip him from his committee assignments. Both parties blocked it, but we are not backing down,” she continued.
We just introduced a resolution to EXPEL Cory Mills from the U.S. House of Representatives.

While the House Ethics Committee has yet to release its findings in the Mills probe, Mace argued the evidence against the congressman is “overwhelming.”
Mace has accused Mills of “beating women and telling them to lie about it, cyberstalking women, lying about his military service, and profiting off his seat.”
“Any Member who votes to keep him here is voting to protect a woman beater and a fraud,” Mace said.
“He needs to be expelled immediately.”
Mace’s resolution comes a week after former Reps. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) and Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) both resigned over allegations of sexual misconduct.
An expulsion resolution against Mills would need support from two-thirds of the House to pass.
However, in a surprise move, Mills flipped the script and now has focused his attention on getting Mace booted from Congress.
Mills now reportedly considering an expulsion resolution of his own against Mace and has already drafted a measure, according to NOTUS.
A source familiar with the matter told the outlet the resolution is expected to reference, among other incidents, a Charleston International Airport exchange where Mace allegedly confronted security officers and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials.
Mace acknowledged the effort, saying Mills is “coming after me” and calling for his expulsion in a statement to the Daily Caller.
“I personally think that you should allow due process,” Mills told The Hill when asked about the expulsion push.
“The precedence that she’s setting right now is that you only have to be investigated, and she’s under investigation,” he continued.
“So I think that, by her own admission, she’s kind of also saying that she should be expelled as well.”
Mills has faced mounting scrutiny in recent months. In September, he drew attention after being one of four Republicans to oppose a resolution from Mace to censure Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar at a time when he was also facing the possibility of a retaliatory censure from House Democrats.
Mills’ former girlfriend, Lindsey Langston, the 2024 Miss United States winner, reportedly filed a restraining order alleging he threatened to release explicit videos of her.
Mills has also faced scrutiny over financial issues, including allegedly falling behind on rent for a luxury Washington, D.C., penthouse where monthly payments exceeded $20,800 and facing possible eviction.
This is a developing story.
