The Women’s March in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, January 21st is going to be a fiasco.
And it could turn dangerous.
The organizational problems are easily solvable. But they won’t be, because it’s run by liberals that don’t believe in rules.
Well, not so much “run” as much as loosely organized by a hodgepodge of various radical leftist organizations with no clear, central message.
Which is a big problem.
Going to the website, it becomes obvious very quickly there is no measurable objective for this demonstration. In fact, there’s no actual leadership structure either – something the organizers are proud of.
They website boasts that their group is “leader-full” and decentralized (Read: leaderless and unorganized).
There is no set marching path, nor is there a permit for an actual protest. The organizers were barely able to get the permit in time for the starting location, which is also the location they’ll be hosting the after-march rally.
No one seems to know where they’re going, when… or why.
The website outlines a rambling, incoherent four page manifesto that outlines the goals, which boils down to simply, “Make stuff better!”
It’s lunacy.
Nowhere is there a leadership team or anything resembling an achievable objective.
Instead, the marcher’s demands read like a liberal wish list, where any random passing thought about identity politics was thrown in without a second glance.
According to the organizers, this women’s march isn’t even about women!
Instead, their march is about… well, anything and everything they could think of.
Social justice, economics, race relations, sexism, rape, Islam, pollution, gender roles, judicial reform, American Indians, abortion, income inequality, transgender and queer rights, animal activism, etc.
If you can name a liberal cause, it’s in their manifesto.
Only one thing is certain: They’re very, very angry.
And they’re asking hundreds of thousands of fellow very, very angry people to join them in a fenced-in area in Washington, D.C.
They’re calling on people who can’t make it to show up at designated locations in various other cities across the country.
But there’s no leadership and no organization that awaits these hundreds of thousands of angry strangers. The only thing that will be there will be the tight quarters they’re being told to box themselves into.
You don’t need experience organizing large crowds to recognize that is dangerous.
Simply put, it’s a recipe for chaos and violence.
These days, of course, that seems to be the go-to for the left.
Our advice? Stay safe by staying well clear of the rabble.
