It seems like the lunatics are running the asylum.
And washed-up comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell is the head honcho.
O’Donnell hasn’t done much in the entertainment world these days, but it hasn’t stopped her from diving into the world of politics.
Especially when it comes to her feelings on former president Donald Trump.
What’s O’Donnell’s latest unhinged rant about Trump?
That his assassination attempt was fake.
O’Donnell floated the idea on her TikTok, saying:
“Now I don’t know what happened that day, but I don’t think it was a bullet that hit him. I don’t. I think it was maybe a fragment of something or… but I don’t know. Without a scar to be seen, yet blood all over it. Look at the photos of him right after with his fist pumping. A normal reaction, right, to almost being assassinated.”

O’Donnell continued saying:
“And there’s something really hanky about the whole thing. And I don’t know what it is, but I am saying this: for people who go on conspiracy theories for endless, endless cycles, you know, deep dives—how come this isn’t getting a deep dive? How come people are just like, look his ear is normal now? Yeah! But he’s not an octopus. He doesn’t regrow his limbs, his ears, his nose or whatever. You don’t regrow; we’re humans. You don’t regrow your arms or your ears.”
O’Donnell’s insane theory that this was all staged lit up social media. However, many countered her idea to showcase that it was absolutely not fake.
Hey @rosie, have you considered that President Trump had surgery to repair his ear? pic.twitter.com/yc5zQFVvwF

And of course, there’s the actual photo of a bullet whizzing by Trump’s head:
A remarkable photo captured by my former White House Press Corps colleague Doug Mills.

So, what say you now, Rosie?
