Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. warning just stunned Capitol Hill

U.S. Democratic senators got an aggressive warning on Thursday ahead of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s upcoming confirmation hearing for Secretary of Health and Human Services — by NFL star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers directly challenged liberal lawmakers on Capitol Hill to question RFK, Jr’s health positions, because Rodgers said it would only help Kennedy’s case.

“Like, please, somebody try and get after him and just watch him absolutely mop the floor with any of these senators,” Rodgers declared on popular “Pat McAfee Show.”

You better come ready senators, come ready and try and see if you can pull one over on my boy, Bobby, because Bobby’s f***ing smart, dude. And no notes, off the cuff, can handle his own pretty well, so excited for him to – and honestly, so should everybody.”

Rodgers, who previously considered Kennedy’s offer to be his running mate in his Independent 2024 presidential election campaign before Kennedy joined President-elect Donald Trump’s winning ticket, has since emerged as a fierce defender of the HHS nominee.

Trump’s selection of Kennedy faces intense scrutiny from both political parties over Kennedy’s established positions on public health issues, including anti-“Big Food” and “Big Pharma” campaigns that promises to shakeup the medical establishment that has entrenched itself in Washington, D.C. over the decades.

The New York Jets quarterback has vigorously defended Kennedy’s “Make America Healthy Again” initiative, pointing to the FDA’s recent ban on red food dye as validation of their shared concerns about food safety.

“Like, if you spend a minute researching ingredients in products in the states compared to overseas, it’s disgusting,” Rodgers said during the broadcast.

“It’s disgusting what they allow here, the levels that they allow here, products that are terrible for you, products they know are carcinogenic. So it’s going to [be] as he’s doing a service to everybody if you just let him and get the hell out of the way and stop trying to label him as whatever the f— they want to label him these days.”

The defense of Kennedy escalated as he addressed critics of the nominee’s controversial health positions.

“He just wants to make sure that everything that’s being given to our kids is safe, everything that we’re ingesting on a day-to-day basis is safe, and he’s going to ‘Make America Healthy Again’ or is going to freaking die trying,” Rodgers declared.

Congress has not yet scheduled Kennedy’s confirmation hearing as they prepare for Trump’s return to office. The position of Health and Human Services Secretary requires both a Senate confirmation hearing and full vote before Kennedy can assume the role.

The outspoken support for Kennedy comes after former 3-time MVP Rodgers finished his first full season as Jets quarterback with a disappointing 5-12 record, missing the playoffs.
