Tiger Woods allegedly had two hydrocodone pills stashed in his pocket when he was busted on DUI charges in Florida, according to new reports from authorities that were on the scene minutes after the crash.
The pills were found in Woods’ left pant pocket after he was forced to crawl from his flipped luxury Land Rover in Jupiter Island, Florida, last Friday, according to an arrest report obtained by The New York Post.
The two pills, which had “M367” marked on them, were later determined to be hydrocodone — an opioid used to treat chronic pain, the report stated.
When asked if he took any prescription meds, Woods allegedly told arresting officers “I take a few,” adding that he had taken some earlier that morning.
Investigators have previously asserted that the golf legend was allegedly under the influence of “some type of medication or drug” when he clipped a truck and then overturned his SUV just minutes from his home.
However, Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek previously revealed that no drugs or medications were found in the wreckage itself.
Sheriff’s deputies on the scene noted in the report that Woods’ eyes were “bloodshot and glassy” and his pupils were “extremely dilated” in the immediate aftermath of the crash.
Authorities said Woods was also “sweating profusely” and his movements were “lethargic and slow,” the report stated.
“While speaking to Woods, I observed him to be extremely alert and talkative. Woods had hiccups during the entire investigation,” an investigating officer noted, adding the golf star had denied taking any illicit substances prior to the crash.
A breath test ultimately came back with absolutely zero signs of alcohol, but Woods refused to undergo a urinalysis test at the scene, authorities previously revealed.
Meanwhile, Woods said he was distracted at the time of the crash because he was “looking down at his cell phone and changing the radio station,” an official police affidavit charged.
He claimed he didn’t see the vehicle in front of him slowing down before he clipped it.
Woods was ultimately charged with driving under the influence with property damage and refusing a lawful test.
Woods agreed to undergo a slew of field sobriety tests at the scene.
The latest arrest marks the fourth time Woods has been involved in a car wreck – including an infamous 2017 DUI arrest where he was found asleep behind the wheel with the engine running, the right blinker on, two flat tires, and light damage to the driver’s side.
