Thousands of Central American migrants resumed an arduous trek toward the U.S. border Monday — and many critics have suggested there could be terrorists among them.
The caravan, estimated to include more than 7,000 people, still roughly more than 1,000 miles away from the U.S. border. It is composed mostly of migrants seeking safety in numbers from gang violence and drug dealers on their trip north.
But new reports show that people from as far away as Asia and Africa have flown into South America and joined the thousands of people attempting to cross the U.S. border illegally.
A reporter for the Spanish-language network Univision revealed that he has met a mass of people from the Muslim-majority country of Bangladesh who had joined the caravan.
He stated, “They infiltrated themselves in this caravan.”
Reporting from a bridge in Guatemala, reporter Francisco Santa Anna explained that he himself had met some of these migrants.
The Daily Caller reported a translation of his claims, “The borders in Central American are not as strong as the U.S., which makes it possible for people from Panama and Ecuador to cross easily,” Santa Anna said on Univision. “They cross from Costa Rica, then later go through Guatemala and eventually make it into our country.”
“Yesterday when we were traveling through Guatemala, we noticed people from El Salvador and even people from Bangladesh,” he continued.
“Can you imagine what they had to do to get here?” he said. “They infiltrated themselves in this caravan and tried to cross with the crowd. That would have benefited them greatly.”
The mainstream media and Democrats have claimed that the migrants attempting to cross the border are all poor women and children, in need of jobs to support their families.
But, investigative journalist Sara Carter explained on Twitter on Monday, “Mostly men now crossing the #Guatamalen border – rehearsed answer “this is not politics – this is about poverty.” There were women and children but they were at the front of the caravan (smaller numbers).” She added, “None would say who the organizers are but several said it was organized.”

Carter later shared on Twitter, “Guatemalan intelligence discovered people from India, Bangladesh, Africa had also joined in with the caravan -I bumped into a number of young MS 13 gang members.”

With mainstream news outlets neglecting to report the truth from this caravan, it is becoming increasingly worrisome of how these so-called migrants plan to illegally cross the border — and the plans they have in place if they get the chance.
