Report: Joe Biden’s house received a $250,000 transfer from Beijing

On Thursday, the House of Representatives will hold its first hearing to examine the value of an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

And Kentucky Rep. James Comer, the Oversight Committee chairman, is planning to drop two bombshells during the hearing.

Comer, a Republican, claims to have seen bank records of two wire transfers from Beijing to the president’s home in Wilmington, Delaware.

“Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home is listed as the beneficiary address for both wires,” the House Oversight Committee said in a statement Tuesday.

“Oversight Committee subpoenaed and obtained two bank wires revealing Hunter Biden received payments originating from Chinese nationals… when Joe Biden was running for President of the United States.”

The House has reportedly obtained records of two transfers: one for $10,000 in July 2019 and another the next month for a whopping $250,000.

President Biden has denied his son’s record of pocketing money from Beijing. In the most high-profile lie of his career, Biden said at a debate in 2020, “My son has not made money in terms of this thing about, what are you talking about, China.”

Hunter Biden himself admitted to taking this money in a July testimony.

“Bank records don’t lie but President Joe Biden does,” Comer said in a statement. “In 2020, Joe Biden told Americans that his family never received money from China,” Comer said in a statement. “What did the Bidens do with this money from Beijing? Americans demand and deserve accountability for President Biden.”

Comer was presumably referring to money from CEFC China Energy, an energy conglomerate based in the People’s Republic and possibly linked to the powerful Chinese Communist Party.

The Oversight Committee announced the subpoenas ahead of Thursday’s hearing, now set to include three expert witnesses. According to a Monday announcement, the committee will rely on expert testimony from both a law professor, forensic accounting expert, and a former assistant attorney general.

In other words, the committee looks likely to probe Hunter Biden’s alleged tax fraud, rather than the allegations of unlawfully buying a firearm.
