Since 2020, First Son Hunter Biden has been dealing with a federal investigation into his controversial business practices.
President Joe Biden — Hunter’s father — has denied any involvement, and he’s even denied any knowledge of his son’s other scandals, like the accusation of lying on an application to buy a gun.
Biden may soon be facing a subpoena and be put under oath, according to a bombshell new report.
On Monday, The Daily Mail has obtained a 634-page report from Marco Polo, a transparency group founded by Donald Trump’s former White House aide Garrett Zeigler.
Marco Polo’s report accuses President Biden of criminal offenses ranging from flouting the Presidential Records Act to financially capitalizing on state secrets, according to a review by the Mail.
Most shockingly, Marco Polo’s report claims to have evidence that the president committed tax evasion. The report can be read here.
When discussing “Unreported Income and Gifts,” Marco Polo argued:
The Bidens’ financial affairs were akin to a messy pickup truck dashboard that required constant and careful intervention from Hunter’s business partners… and Joe’s discreet taxpayer-funded staff…
Over an 11-year period, Hunter’s firm paid $25K for Joe’s second iPhone… which circumvented White House security protocols, along with “most lines” on a “Wells Fargo credit line” that Joe utilized.
Marco Polo concluded with a practical plan for government accountability. “These phone, banking, and other financial records must be subpoenaed,” the organization wrote.
The GOP looks likely to retake control of the House of Representatives after this year’s midterms, according to FiveThirtyEight’s poll aggregate. In light of the polls, some House Republicans have promised to launch oversight investigations into Hunter Biden.
“We are going to take power after this next election,” Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., said in December, according to The Washington Post. “When we do, it’s not going to be the days of … no real oversight and no real subpoenas.”
The Biden family remains defiant and claims the Marco Polo report is unverified hearsay.
“Everybody and their brother has investigated Hunter,” First Lady Jill Biden told NBC News Friday. “They keep at it, and at it, and at it. I know that Hunter is innocent. I love my son, and I will keep looking forward.”
Meanwhile, President Biden has distanced himself from his son’s activities. Earlier this month, he gave a sit-down interview addressing The Washington Post‘s report about his son’s lying on an application to buy a gun.
The president acknowledged the Post report, but he denied any prior knowledge of the scandal.
“This thing about a gun, I didn’t know anything about it,” President Biden claimed in the interview.
“But turns out that… he made an application to purchase a gun… You get asked a question. ‘Are you on drugs, or do use drugs?’ He said no. And he wrote about [doing drugs at the time] in his book.”
What do you think?
Should the House Oversight Committee subpoena the president's phone records?
