Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-C.O., and MAGA rock star Kid Rock were spotted leaving a inaugural celebration for President Donald Trump together at 2:30 a.m. in Washington, D.C. recently.
The rumored dalliance sparked speculation that a relationship could be forming. Witnesses described the two MAGA stars dancing and excited throughout the evening.
“Lauren was totally transfixed by the rock star, yapping away, doing a little dance, and clapping like she was front row at his concert,” a source told TMZ about their earlier interaction at the party.
Multiple witnesses reported Rock responded by “jumping up and down gleefully,” earning applause from the congresswoman.
The Colorado congresswoman, 38, and the singer, 54, were seen hailing a cab together as festivities celebrating Donald Trump’s second inauguration wound down.
When asked about the late-night departure, Boebert’s press secretary offered a terse response: “I think we’ll pass.”
The pair share significant political common ground as vocal Trump supporters and Second Amendment advocates. Both have also operated themed restaurants – Boebert’s now-closed Shooters in Colorado, where servers were encouraged to carry firearms, and Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk and Rock & Roll Steakhouse in Nashville.
Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, has reportedly been previously engaged to Audrey Berry since 2017 and performed at Trump’s election victory rally.
He previously was married to supermodel Pamela Anderson and maintains a close friendship with Trump.
Boebert divorced her husband Jayson in 2023 after 20 years of marriage after a falling out. She recently made headlines for being removed from a Denver “Beetlejuice” performance over conduct with a date, Aspen bar owner Quinn Gallagher.
The congresswoman won re-election in November after moving to Colorado’s more conservative 4th Congressional District on the Great Plains, following a near loss in her previous Rocky Mountain district.
The late-night sighting comes as both figures maintain high profiles in MAGA circles.
Boebert celebrated Trump’s second term inauguration alongside fellow supporters Matt Gaetz and Steve Bannon earlier in the evening, while Rock performed at multiple inaugural events.
When asked about their relationship status, sources close to both parties emphasized there was no evidence of anything beyond political camaraderie, though circumstances of their departure has still fueled social media speculation.
