White House senior adviser Stephen Miller’s interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace on Sunday was a tense back-and-forth — and Miller didn’t hold back.
He named names about the whistleblower controversy.
Miller slammed the “partisan hit job” that has entangled President Donald Trump’s administration. And he said the real “whistleblower” in Washington, D.C. isn’t who the media is reporting on.
The real whistleblower is President Donald Trump, he claimed.

“I think it’s unfortunate that the media continues to describe this individual as a whistleblower — an honorific that this individual certainly does not deserve,” Miller said. “A partisan hit job does not make you a whistleblower just because you go through the Whistleblower Protection Act.”
Miller said the so-called “whistleblower” wasn’t acting in good faith, as acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire claimed in a recent House hearing.
“First of all, if you read the seven-page little Nancy Drew novel the whistleblower put together, it drips with condescension, righteous indignation, and contempt for the president,” Miller said.
Instead, the true “whistleblower” in Washington, D.C. is Trump, Miller claimed, because he’s taking on corruption and the Deep State.

The complaint describes an elaborate cover-up… of something Trump was already openly discussing in April, Miller said.
“This is a Deep State operative, pure and simple,” Miller claimed. “People who haven’t been in the federal government or worked in the White House may not appreciate this. But the situation is that you have a group of unelected bureaucrats who think they need to take down this president.”
“Their motives and their agenda are clear: Do you want democracy in this country, or do you want a Deep State?” Miller asked.
Wallace pushed back and pointed out the acting Director of National Intelligence said the individual was acting in good faith.

“The president has got the State Department, he’s got the CIA, he’s got the Pentagon he’s got a number of other agencies, why did he use three private lawyers to get information on Biden?” Wallace said.
Miller said the people that were “enraged” over the phone call were the same people happy to use the foreign intelligence gathered in the debunked Steele dossier.
“The president of the United States is the whistleblower and this individual is a saboteur trying to undermine a democratically elected government,” Miller said in the tense interview.
