Radical, Dem-run “dark money” outfit uncovered in Michigan

Democrats claim they want to give average Americans a bigger voice in politics by banning “dark money” organizations. But several of the party’s nominees may be pulling in money laundered into the U.S. political process from overseas, including the Democratic Party’s most radical left-wing, socialist candidate for the Senate.

As part of his leading campaign for Michigan Senate, Democratic hopeful Abdul El-Sayed has lied about past statements that he wants to defund the police and asked, “Do police really need to use guns?” he promises he “will abolish ICE.” He supports Bernie Sanders’ socialized medicine program “Medicare For All” and calls himself a physician but doesn’t have a valid medical license. He’s now claiming he’s not a socialist while campaigning with Sanders and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and attended events hosted by the Democratic Socialists of America—a group former members now say is dominated by Communists. As a candidate, El-Sayed has promised to “crack down on dark money.” But if he really cares, he can start with his own campaign.

Journalists have investigated a campaign funding organization that reportedly takes money from foreign donors and passes it off as donations from U.S. citizens—and it seems El-Sayed is right in the receiving end of the transaction.

It all began when an investigator tracked down an 88-year-old woman listed as a frequent donor to El-Sayed through the Democratic campaign donation tool ActBlue.

Elizabeth Waffle supposedly made 47 separate donations to Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign over two years…and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

According to ActBlue records from the same time period, Waffle made an incredible14,696 donations, totaling $150,000.

Waffle, who lives in a trailer, said she has made small contributions through ActBlue, including giving El-Sayed some money…but not 47 times, and definitely not six figures. “One hundred and fifty thousand?” asked Waffle. “Hell no! I don’t have that kind of money.”

The admission raises serious questions: If this octagenarian widow from Michigan isn’t really making ActBlue’s donations, who is? Does ActBlue use real American donors’ names to funnel foreign donations to Democratic candidates? And how many more U.S. citizens is the left-wing campaign finance platform using as fronts to facilitate fake donations?

ActBlue has an enormous footprint in Democratic politics. The New York Times reported that ActBlue has processed “nearly $19 billion” for Democratic campaigns since it was founded in 2004.

It knows many of these donations are, or may be, illegal. The Horn told you that ActBlue’s former lawyers at the white-shoe Democratic law firm Covington and Burling warned the firm its lazy or nonexistent vetting produced “a substantial risk that some of the funds received were impermissible contributions from foreign nationals.”

“ActBlue’s staff was aware that its system was not as robust as necessary,” the memo read. “These violations were ‘knowing and willful.’”

Kimberly Peeler-Allen, the chairwoman of the ActBlue board of directors, has responded that illegal foreign donations make up, at most, only one percent of its revenue—which is still a federal offense. But conservative Texas firebrand Rep. Chip Roy pointed out that even if you believe her—and there’s no reason to—that would still come to $38 million or $40 million in illegal money laundering for Democrats.

The money has already flowed, but now the walls are closing in. The Horn told you Texas Attorney General and Senate candidate Ken Paxton has filed suit, and Attorney General Todd Blanche is mulling the same course of action.

The House Judiciary Committee has already interrogated ActBlue employees under oath—and the five employees invoked the Fifth Amendment 146 times.

If convicted, they could face up to five years in prison and $250,000 in fines.

The probes have Democrats feeling “nervous that any additional upheaval at ActBlue could destabilize the party’s critical fund-raising apparatus ahead of the midterm elections,” according to The New York Times.

But ActBlue is far from the only group accused of taking foreign money to impact the U.S. electoral process. The Justice Department has already begun an investigation into the dark money network run by radical leftists Neville Singham, who has deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

Singham has spent “hundreds of millions of dollars” through a multitude of groups that “all push Communist China’s propaganda,” even though “none of them are registered under” federal law as foreign agents, Scott Walter, president of the center-Right watchdog Capital Research Center, testified before Congress.

Among other things, Singham’s groups “operate Fake News websites” and shill for North Korea.

Most recently, a European group has tried to destroy the Trump presidency, according to an investigative report broadcast by The Horn News.

An organization called Power for Democracies, which is based in Berlin, analyzed more than 100 U.S.-based groups and picked one to fund called Freedom2Vote

“We are currently recommending Freedom2Vote, a non-profit organisation that can receive funds from both US and foreign donors,” claimed the German organization in February.

Power for Democracies said it selected Freedom2Vote, because its “planned $19 million effort would register over 350,000 voters and generate more than 200,000 additional votes in pivotal House and Senate races”—and that has the power to “change the outcomes of national elections,” according to screenshots from Natalie Winters, who is frequently seen on Steve Bannon’s War Room.

Not only could Freedom2Vote go about “checking authoritarianism” (stopping the agenda American voters elected President Trump to carry out) by registering enough Democratic votes to shut down Republicans, but it can steal U.S. elections at a song.

“Its program for the 2024 elections achieved a cost per net voter registration of approximately $54 and a cost per net vote of around $94,” says Power for Democracies.

But so far, the U.S. group had only collected $4 million toward its $19 million goal…which is where the European-based website’s readers come in. Winters says, since she exposed the foreign influence operation, “the files and website were DELETED.”

Luckily, she says, she archived the images.

Unfortunately, foreign actors aren’t just targeting Democratic races. They also aim to pick the next Republican presidential candidate.

The Horn News also told you about a foreign influence operation aimed at destroying the front-runner for the 2028 Republican presidential nomination, Vice President J.D. Vance.

Polls show Vance winning the 2028 nomination and defeating Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom in the general election.

Both parties need to drain foreign money out of the political ecosystem and let the American people’s voice and vote reign supreme. Putting these foreign actors behind bars would be a good first step toward real election security and integrity.
