MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow has seen her ratings implode ever since former special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian election meddling dropped in April.
For two years she promised her viewers that President Donald Trump was compromised by Russia. That was a lie.
The Mueller testimony on Wednesday was her chance for a comeback in the ratings — but Mueller didn’t cooperate.
A desperate Maddow tried to spin what Mueller said. She claimed that not only was this a loss for Trump, but also that it was “remarkable day” for Democrats.
Her segment was so divorced from reality, it left some social media users openly wondering if she’d lost her mind.
“It was a remarkable day, not just for this presidency but for the presidency,” Maddow tried to tell her audience. “”I know the Trump White House and conservative media are trying to, like, chin up tonight, make it seem like they had a great day today. They did not have a great day today.”
Because it seems as though pundits and policy experts on both sides of the political aisle thought Mueller’s entire testimony was a disaster for pro-impeachment Democrats.
Maddow seems to be the only one that didn’t notice (or, as some suggested, she was just lying for the ratings).
She even went as far as suggesting that Mueller’s testifying would open up the door for more of his team — the ones who helped him compile the report — to questioning
In other words, she means that Democrats should drag Mueller’s associates into court too. She wants a repeat of Wednesday’s disaster, it seems.
Is this woman out of what is left of her damn mind‽‽@maddow commends herself on her “studious” objectivity. Goes on 2 refer to #Mueller as “detached”.
She then says Congress now needs 2 move on 2 Mueller’s TEAM, as Mueller has only been a “figurehead” all along. pic.twitter.com/f407cO927Q

Just another example of not accepting the results…
Just a thought, if you didn't like the results of 2016, run a better candidate in 2020.
This shitshow that's been running since 2016 isn't helping their cause in the least. Its actually counterproductive
