Commuters entering California were greeted with more than just a “welcome” sign on Monday morning.
Photos are circulating the internet of a new addition added underneath the “Welcome to California” sign that reads “OFFICIAL SANCTUARY STATE” — and liberals are not happy about it!
These official looking signs were secretly added to highway signs at the Nevada and Arizona state borders by anonymous supporters of President Donald Trump.

The bottom of the sign reads “Felons, Illegals and MS13 Welcome! Democrats need the votes!”
There has been no word on who posted the signs or if they have been removed yet.
The prank is a result of a controversial bill passed by California Gov. Jerry Brown, a Democrat, that was signed in October, and became effective on Jan. 1.

Brown’s new bill officially marks California as a “Sanctuary State” and prevents law enforcement from asking people about their immigration status — and bans them from cooperating with federal immigration authorities, such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
California’s 2.3 million undocumented immigrants will be shielded from federal law, putting the state’s citizens in greater danger.
Funny enough, Brown made the claim that this new law will “strike a balance” between illegals and the public. But critics say there can be no balance if illegals are going to be getting away with murder — for example, the Kate Steinle case.
U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions attacked the law saying, “The bill risks the safety of good law enforcement officers and the safety of the neighborhoods that need their protection the most.”

We could not agree with you more, Mr. Sessions!
This sign prank is genius, and we hope to see many more like it in 2018.
