House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has signaled her support for stronger border control…. but she has a different idea on how to protect Amreican than what President Donald Trump proposed.
Trump has advocated for a border wall since his presidential campaign, an idea largely supported by American voters.
Pelosi is offering up a new idea: Mow the grass.
Yes, really. The top liberal in Congress believes that mowing the grass around the border would be a better alternative to border control than Trump’s wall.
Stating the obvious in an interview with The Arizona Republic, Pelosi announced, “I’m not the wall’s biggest advocate in Congress,” she said to congressional reporter Ron Hansen.
“Let’s talk about where a more serious structure might be necessary, where fencing will do or mowing the grass so people can’t be smuggled through the grass,” she proposed.
Folks, she is not kidding — she thinks mowing the grass will protect America.
“I do know that representatives in the House and senators in that body from the border areas have some serious objections to a wall, because they know how detrimental it can be to the community trade, to all of the other aspects of a border,” she added.
This woman really is the gift the keeps on giving to the GOP. Every time she opens her mouth we are reminded how lucky we are to have Trump in office.
