Howard Dean, the former Democratic Party leader and longtime D.C. insider, just made a stunning confession about liberal’s strategy heading into the 2018 midterm elections.
Building on the tidal wave of identity politics crafted by former President Barack Obama, Dean has said the Democrats plan to double-down.
In 2018, they’re planning to label and shame anyone that doesn’t vote for them as a racist.
On MSNBC’s Saturday morning show “AM Joy”, Dean told host Joy-Ann Reid:
“I think this may be the moment for Trump last weekend,” Dean said, referring to the political violence in Charlottesville. “Today, in the 2018 elections, if you vote for a Republican, you’re supporting Donald Trump. This has now become a referendum.”
“If you want to vote for a racist in the White House, then you better vote for Republicans. But if you want to vote for Democrats and really have change, that’s where I think America is going,” Dean concluded.
His statement is stunning… and it’s a telling confession about Democrats new political strategy. It seems they want voters to ignore smart policy and good governance.
In 2018, the Democrats won’t worry about about tax reform, healthcare policy, and out-of-control government spending. They don’t want voters to demand an end to the spiraling violence in American cities that has slaughtered a generation of young black Americans.
In other words, the Democrats won’t rely on any of the merits of their message.
They are returning to failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s “deplorable” strategy — and they’ll rely on fear and Orwellian “crimethink” to keep voters in line.
Liberals will give voters two choices in the next election: Vote only for our candidates, or we’ll label you a deplorable racist.
