Self-driving cars were supposed to be the wave of the future. But that future is already scaring the pants off of some Atlanta residents.
Residents of Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood say they expected the occasional self-driving taxi rolling through town. What they didn’t expect was a full-on robot parade.
In recent weeks, locals reported seeing dozens of empty Waymo vehicles circling cul-de-sacs, looping through side streets, and apparently treating the neighborhood like a NASCAR practice track. One resident told local media they counted nearly 50 Waymo cars in a single hour, while others described the situation as “mass chaos.”
Waymo says they’ve fixed the glitch — but you need to see it for yourself. Imagine this happening in your neighborhood!
