President Joe Biden just wound down one war—and churned up another one. He cut off the war against the Taliban, leaving them billions of dollars in U.S. military equipment and a few hundred Americans as a “welcome home” gift. But now he’s in a political battle against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D–N.Y.)–over a figure she thinks isn’t radical enough for her … and he’s already pretty radical.
It’s none other than Rahm Emanuel—the former liberal congressman, Obama administration enforcer, and mayor of Chicago.
Emanuel is not exactly a conservative—far from it. He’s not only on the liberal fringes of the United States, but he’s one of the angriest, meanest, dirtiest partisan fighters in all of politics—Republican or Democrat.

Emanuel worked out his hatred in 1992 after he had helped Bill Clinton win the presidency. During a celebratory dinner at a high-priced restaurant in Little Rock called Doe’s, Emanuel read a list of names of people he said had betrayed the Clinton campaign. After every name, he thrust a steak knife into the table and yelled, “Dead!” He later said, “If somebody screws me, I’ll remember it.”
It wasn’t the first time he’d threatened his opponents. In 1988, after he lost a congressional race in New York, he blamed the defeat on a pollster named Alan Secrest. Rahm mailed Secrest a dead fish—like a scene out of The Godfather—with a note that said, “It’s been awful working with you. Love, Rahm.”
When he left the Obama White House in 2010, the president gave him a dead fish as a going-away present … and Emanuel cried, he was so touched. That’s creepy behavior.
And his rage-fests didn’t end in the 1990s, or in the Obama White House. Emanuel acted so much like a mafia figure as mayor that The Chicago Tribune called him “The Rahmfather” … which should make him perfect for an administration run by corrupt politicians like the Bidens.
“This nomination is deeply shameful,” AOC said in a statement—and, for once, we agree … but for different reasons.
She doesn’t want Emanuel confirmed because, while he was mayor of Chicago, police shot a Black teenager named Laquan McDonald. They hid the footage, which eventually showed he was not a threat to the police, and the officer did time in jail over it.
AOC is harping on the old controversy, which Emanuel had little to do with, to angle for a more left-wing nominee.

“That the Biden administration seeks to reward Emanuel with an ambassadorship is an embarrassment and betrayal of the values we seek to uphold both within our nation and around the world,” she concluded. “I urge the Senate to vote NO on his confirmation.”
AOC may not like Emanuel, but she loves his political advice. He’s the one who said, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste.” He didn’t invent the idea of exploiting a crisis for political advantage, but he’s the only one shameless enough to say it out loud—and AOC has definitely followed his “wisdom” to a tee.
When, after decades of endless media propaganda, millions of Americans believe that climate change is “an existential crisis,” AOC offered up a $93 trillion Green New Deal. But her scandalous chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, later admitted they cooked up the whole thing to turn America socialist.
“It wasn’t originally a climate thing at all,” he confessed. “Do you guys think of it as a climate thing? Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.”
Anytime anyone disagrees with the Bronx congresswoman’s far-Left plans, points out any mistake she makes, or points out the way she constantly spouts anti-American rhetoric, she accuses them of putting her life in danger.
When an angry mob got out of control and stormed the U.S. Capitol, she’s played up the trauma and PTSD it caused her—even though she was in a totally different building at the time. They stormed the Capitol; she was in the Cannon Building—which was evacuated but was never in any danger. “My office is 2 doors down. Insurrectionists never stormed our hallway,” Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina revealed, saying that “egregious doesn’t even begin to cover” the way AOC has misled the public about her safety.
But that hasn’t stopped the world’s most fragile revolutionary from saying that the Biden administration could do just a couple of things to help calm her poor, jangled nerves: systematically fire “extremists” (who voted for Donald Trump) from the U.S. military, deny banking services to anyone who sells guns to average people, and conduct national surveillance against any target that resists.

That includes Emanuel, an extreme liberal who’s too moderate for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s liking. She also publicly opposed Emanuel when his name surfaced as a possible appointee to lead the U.S. Department of Transportation.
But she’s in the House; confirmations happen in the Senate. That hasn’t stopped her from throwing around her weight and making demands she has no business making.
She and fellow Squad members like Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) also called on the Biden administration to dump Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell in favor of a candidate more “focused on eliminating climate risk and advancing racial and economic justice” (which means advancing socialism).
What’s really going on here? Power, plain and simple.
This is about a tiny group of radical, anti-American socialists wrecking the U.S. Constitution as much as they can during the next 16 months—while the Democrats still control the House of Representatives. Her problem isn’t with some dash-cam footage of a 17-year-old kid: AOC drives a Tesla and shops at a ritzy organic supermarket.
It’s about radicalizing America as fast as possible, as completely and irreversibly as possible, using any means possible.

That’s the kind of lesson she learned by watching politics as practiced by a lowlife like Rahm Emanuel.
She really ought to thank him.
