It’s Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’, D-N.Y. favorite move.
The first-year New York Congresswoman puts out bogus, false information to her adoring social media fans.
And those adoring fans have no idea she’s lying to their faces.
Now, Ocasio-Cortez may be caught in her most ridiculous lie yet.
And, of course, she’s once again promising that we’re all about to die — all so she can push trillion-dollar climate change legislation that nobody wants.
In a new Instagram video, Ocasio-Cortez claims that glaciers melting from global warming will unleash killer bacteria and viruses that we’ll be powerless to stop.

“There are a lot of diseases that are frozen in some of these glaciers that scientists fear that there is a potential that a lot of diseases could escape these melted glaciers,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
She added that those epidemic diseases were going to “get into our water” and that medical science is “not prepared” for them.
Of course, that couldn’t be further from the truth — and science has proven it repeatedly.
Once again, science and facts are proven to be Ocasio-Cortez’ greatest enemies.
Many of the alarmist “frozen disease” claims come from a 2016 incident in Siberia, where an Arctic heat wave caused some permafrost to thaw.
Alarmists claimed that anthrax from rotting reindeer bubbled to the surface, leading to the death of one… yes, exactly ONE… person.

Of course, the heat wave… and even the one death… had nothing to do with global warming.
As NPR science correspondent Michaeleen Doucleff pointed out on a 2018 segment on All Things Considered, anthrax has been bubbling to the Earth’s surface for thousands of years.
Basically, it’s what anthrax does.
And the “frozen disease” claim has been completely discredited in research.
“The evidence presented is as holey as Swiss cheese,” Doucleff said.
As Doucleff pointed out, researchers have actually dug up dead bodies in the Arctic and tried to reanimate viruses and diseases like pneumonia.
“But nothing grew,” said Dr. Michael Zimmerman, an Ivy League researcher from the University of Pennsylvania, in an interview with Doucleff. “Not a single cell.”

Previous research by a graduate student in Nome, Alaska in the 1950s found the same thing.
“We’re dealing with organisms that have been frozen for hundreds of years,” Zimmerman said. “So I don’t think they would come back to life.”
And you don’t have to be a PhD-level scientist to discover that the “frozen disease” theory is junk science.
It takes a 30-second Internet search — one that Ocasio-Cortez apparently had no interest in doing.
Because all Ocasio-Cortez cares about is forcing through proposals like her disastrous Green New Deal at any cost.
And she doesn’t mind if she has to spread some terrifying, alarmist lies to do it.
Especially since her adoring fans never bother to question her.
