Obama loyalists launch anti-Trump shadow war

Opposition to President Donald Trump has been broadcast everywhere in the media. From violent protests to Senate opposition, if you’re tuning into the mainstream media you know the Democratic elite in Washington are doing everything they can to fight Trump’s policies.

Once a chant at campaign rallies, “drain the swamp” is becoming a clear reality — and federal employees are shaking in their swamp boots.

These employees, most of whom are left-over from the Obama administration, are doing everything in their power to stop Trump while they still can.

Over the weekend, unflattering transcripts of telephone conversations Trump held with foreign leaders were leaked to the press by “Obama people”, the president claimed, and led to fake news reports regarding Trump threatening to invade Mexico.

And these leaked transcripts aren’t the only example of Barack Obama’s swamp snakes biting back.

Some employees — paid by your tax dollars — have taken it upon themselves to create fake Facebook accounts through which they can leak insider information about changes Trump’s appointees are attempting to make, The Washington Post reported.

But there’s an even more sinister, under-the-radar communication being used as a weapon by the secretive anti-Trump groups in Washington.

Employees in federal agencies that feel threatened by Trump’s administration — like the Environmental Protection Agency — have begun communicating with each other and the media on secret, encrypted messaging apps to keep their communications confidential from the government.

POLITICO originally reported the goal of the secrecy, “is to get their message across while not violating any rules covering workplace communication, which can be monitored by the government and could potentially get them fired.”

They are also utilizing the private nature of the app to organize letters and memos among their coworkers in private to oppose Trump’s policies.

The app they used, Signal, is similar to other private messaging applications like WhatsApp, encrypts messages making them harder for hackers to obtain — or government agencies from finding the source.

In addition to leaks, public employees are also publicly doing everything in their power to stop the confirmation of Trump’s cabinet nominees.

Hundreds of current and former employees of the Environmental Protection Agency are speaking out against President Donald Trump’s pick to head the department.

About 300 people, including scores of EPA employees, rallied Monday across the street from the agency’s regional headquarters in downtown Chicago to oppose Scott Pruitt’s nomination.

Nearly 450 former EPA officials also signed a letter sent to the U.S. Senate saying that Pruitt is the wrong man for the job. It said Pruitt’s record “raises serious questions about whose interests he has served to date and whether he agrees with the longstanding tenets of U.S. environmental law.”

These nasty swamp monsters can’t wrap their heads around the fact that Trump is now our president, and continue to cause obstructionism by sabotaging his policies.

As more Cabinet picks are approved and executive orders passed, the people of the Washington establishment are doing everything they can to avoid the drain.
