Former President Barack Obama broke his silence and came out of the shadows to attack President Donald Trump on Tuesday.
Obama is blaming Trump for the Wuhan virus pandemic.
Obama piled on alongside the detractors and media pundits that regularly criticize Trump.
He tweeted in response to an article discussing Trump’s decision to deregulate fuel economy standards to encourage more economic growth. The move unraveled some Obama-backed regulations in the White House.
“We’ve seen all too terribly the consequences of those who denied warnings of a pandemic,” Obama wrote.
“We can’t afford any more consequences of climate denial.”
“All of us, especially young people, have to demand better of our government at every level and vote this fall.”

The dig at the president was two-fold –– not only did he chide Trump on what he called an unprepared response to the coronavirus infecting America, he also insinuated that Trump was a climate change denier.
DeAnna Lorraine, the upstart candidate running to knock House Speaker Nancy Pelosi out of her congressional seat, shot back at Obama’s tweet.
You never fail to try and make everything about yourself. I am no fan of George W. Bush, but he didn't sit there your whole pathetic presidency and grandstand. Why don't you go to your lakefront home with Mike and leave us all alone?

But as for Trump’s political move, The Hill’s Rebecca Beitsch writes that the White House believes the move will save Americans’ lives and allow car manufacturers to produce vehicles more cheaply.
The change will save lives, the White House said. “Lower prices spur consumers to upgrade to new vehicles with better safety features that guzzle less gas than older models.”
Remember, this is the same man who won’t even speak out on behalf of his pal Joe Biden …
That he responded from his mansion in Martha’s Vineyard is telling. Obama has his eye on Trump.
And like CNN, which wants to make sure the president gets no credit for stopping coronavirus, he may be hoping the same thing.
