Former President Barack Obama has remained in the spotlight in his post-presidential life — paparazzi photos have catch him living it up with his millions. He’s been kite-surfing, golfing, and hanging out with millionaires on yachts.

But it’s not all wine and sunshine. Obama is back at politics too… this time spreading his globalist ideals in international elections!
French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron tweeted Thursday, letting the world know about a phone call he had with Obama — going as far as including video clips of their conversation.
Let’s keep defending our progressive values. Thank you for this discussion @BarackObama. pic.twitter.com/8rhNdHkLo8

While an Obama spokesman claimed the call was not an endorsement, it’s difficult to ignore the similarities to a campaign advertisement, complete with a Macron logo at the end.
Obama spokesman Kevin Lewis said, “An endorsement was not the purpose of the call, as President Obama is not making any formal endorsement.”
Critics aren’t fooled.

Formal or not, conservatives say this is clearly an endorsement. French citizens will hear about the phone call between both self-proclaimed progressives, and draw that conclusion that Obama’s advice and wish of good luck in the race are a sign that he hopes Macron wins the election.
While he didn’t utter the words that he endorses Macron, this is a not-so-subtle wink to French voters that Obama prefers Macron over his opponent — who he has yet to speak to.
Macron is running against Marine Le Pen of the National Front party in an election that mirrors the recent U.S. presidential election in many ways.

Le Pen rejects globalism, the U.N., and open borders — similar to President Donald Trump. Her opponent, Obama-pal Macron, has values reflecting those of failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
So it’s no surprise the Obama would meddle in the French election to help globalism.
Liberals are losing to anti-globalist ideas throughout the world, largely reflected in Trump’s election and Britain’s exit from the EU.

And the current presidential election in France further proves the mainstream elite are on their way out.
French voters shut out the country’s political mainstream from the presidency for the first time in the country’s modern history.
Macron came in first in Sunday’s vote, with just over 23 percent; Le Pen had 21 percent.
Protesters overnight burned cars, danced around bonfires and dodged riot police at the Place de la Bastille and Republique. Twenty-nine people were detained at the Bastille, where protesters waved red flags and sang “No Marine and No Macron!” in anger at the results.

The two candidates are scheduled to face each other in a runoff May 7th.
Hopefully the French citizens aren’t fooled by Obama’s political theater and realize he is attempting to influence their vote — something he already tried, and failed, to do in the U.S.
