“No Kings” rally tried to shoot JD Vance’s family?!

During this weekend’s “No Kings” march, another shocking act of violence exploded onto the political landscape—and, as usual, it appears to have targeted America First Republicans. And it happened at the same time Democrats held a well-funded rally in the same city carrying sign with violent messages.

As of this writing, a police report states that a gunman took aim at a close family member of Vice President J.D. Vance.

The vice president’s half-brother, Cory Bowman — who is running for mayor of Cincinnati — has reported finding evidence that someone shot the window of the church that he pastors.

On Saturday, “during our preparation for service of our church…we discovered a bullet hole that had penetrated an exterior window on the Clark Street side of the building,” said Bowman in a social media post on X. “As the building was unoccupied during the incident, it has been classified as property damage.”

Bowman pastors The River Church in the West End of Cincinnati. He’s also co-owner of Kings Arms Coffee, not far from the church.

Cory Bowman—who has the same father as J.D. Vance, Donald Bowman—added that “over the past week, there have been several negative social media posts, specifically regarding my family’s personal residence and the church’s address,” had been “made due to the nature of our current mayoral campaign. Throughout this campaign, we have encountered negativity, unfortunately including threatening messages directed at our church, business, and family.”

The shooting is being investigated by the Cincinnati Police Department, which Bowman described as “very helpful.”

No one was reportedly injured—but the timing of the shooting is intriguing: Bowman discovered the gunshot the same day Cincinnati hosted one of a reported 2,700 “No Kings” protests nationwide, just miles away. And some of the signs held at the Cincinnati anti-Trump demonstration had violent messages and specifically mentioned Vance.

One of the Cincinnati “No Kings” protesters quoted Civil War-era abolitionist revolutionary John Brown’s last note: “This guilty land will never be purged away but with blood.”

Another held a sign saying, “JD Vance ruins our traffic flow”—a strangely personal sign which local media described as a reference to times the vice president’s visits his home in East Walnut Hills, requiring security to clear local traffic for his safety.

Investigators have not announced if the violence at Vance’s half-brother’s church had anything to do with the rally, but it would not be the only time the hate-Trump protesters justified violence.

On the same day at the “No Kings” rally in Portland, Maine, a protester told a reporter she couldn’t wait to see President Donald Trump dead.

“I hope that I see the obituary that we’re all waiting for tomorrow,” she told Jon Fetherston of The Maine Wire.

“You’re wishing that President Trump is dead?”  he asked.

“Yes, absolutely,” she answered.

On Saturday in Seattle, a “No Kings” protester held a sign asking, “Would you like to kill some Nazis w/me?”

“Who are you gonna kill?” asked journalist Brandi Kruse.

“Nazis,” the man responded. Then he singled out President Trump’s White House deputy chief of staff for policy and the United States homeland security advisor “Stephen Miller is a Nazi.”

“You’re going to kill Stephen Miller?” Kruse followed up.

“If I had the chance, yeah, I would,” he replied.

Conservatives immediately identified the act as another terrorist attack against MAGA Republicans.

“This violence and intimidation against conservatives must be stopped. It is unAmerican and third worldish,” said one online poster.

“One guess which party Bowman is running as,” wrote the conservative website Twitchy. “Gotta love the kind, ever-tolerant, loving Left.”

Despite radical left-wingers setting their sites set on conservatives—in the attempted murder of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, two attempted assassinations of President Trump, and the murder of Charlie Kirk—the media have tried to villainize young Republicans who made off-color remarks in a group chat.

Vice President Vance rejected the equivalence, comparing their jokes with text messages from Jay Jones, the Democratic candidate for attorney general of Virginia, who said he wanted to see the murder of Republican state House leader and his children.

“I refuse to join the pearl clutching when powerful people call for political violence,” said Vance, before the shooting at his relative’s Ohio church.

Bowman hopes to join his brother in the political game. He faces off agains Cincinnati’s incumbent liberal mayor Aftab Pureval, a Democrat, on November 4, but he has a tough road ahead of him.

In the May primary for Cincinnati mayor—which is open to all comers—Pureval beat Bowman by more than 70 percentage points.

Democrats outnumber Republicans three to one in Cincinnati’s presidential contests. Republicans haven’t even run a candidate for mayor of Cincinnati since 2009.

But Pureval may be vulnerable, thanks to the city’s exploding crime rate. Pureval has kept Cincinnati a sanctuary city and enforced non-pursuit laws that keep police from chasing and apprehending criminals.

Shocking video footage went viral in July, showing a gang of young people brutally beating and stomping white tourists outside the LoVe nightclub.

Cincinnati Council Member Victoria Parks said the white victims “begged for that beatdown.” Another council member, Scotty Johnson, branded social media as “irresponsible” for daring to show the video footage.

In an apparent act of desperation, on Monday night, the city put Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge on paid administrative leave “pending an internal investigation into the effectiveness of her leadership.”

What happened in Cincinnati justified our thesis over again.

It wasn't a simple fight, it was a organized hate crime and most importantly a clear organized lynching attempt to white people.

Hey guys, the fact that a bunch of black thugs beat the crap of a bunch of white tourists in Cincinnati is not the problem
The problem is we keep showing the video of it and talking about it.

Cory Bowman wants to crack down on crime, saying the Queen City needs to get police hiring “levels up, because we are 20 percent less staff than what it needs to be right now. In any job environment…if you’re 20 percent understaffed, you’re going to see the results of that. And that’s what we are seeing in the city.”

For the next few weeks, Bowman promises his church will keep serving the Lord.

“We will not be intimidated or deterred by any obstacles. Our life’s work is to positively impact the people of Cincinnati, and that commitment remains unwavering,” promised Bowman.
