Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrick just dropped a bombshell on Democrats across the country: If anyone thinks there’s a “Blue Wave” coming on Nov. 8, they’re wrong.
Data shows that President Donald Trump isn’t in trouble. Liberal voters aren’t preparing his downfall.
In fact, it’s just the opposite, Gingrich says. There’s a Republican “Red Wave” coming to help him.
And there’s nothing the mainstream media can do to stop it.
“Over the past few days, four building blocks have fallen into place that strengthen the case for a red wave of Republican victories in the November midterm elections, wiping out Democratic hopes for a blue wave,” Gingrich wrote in a Fox News article. “Three of these building blocks are Republican-favoring political developments in what would normally be considered safe, blue states.”
First, in New Jersey, Sen. Bob Menendez was put forward as the Democratic nominee… after he barely escaped very serious corruption charges this year. He’s facing a well-funded — and non-controversial — Republican nominee Bob Hugin, a pharmacy executive that could steal the seat from Democrats.
Second, in California, a Republican nominee for the liberal state’s governor is available to voters for the first time in a long time… and that’s trouble for Democrats in a state that’s broke and bleeding voters. “The difference in statewide Republican turnout with a GOP candidate on the ballot for governor has been estimated at 23 percent,” Gingrich said. “This turnout will make the governor’s race competitive and could be the difference between winning and losing a number of House seats.”
Third, in Minnesota, another governor’s job is on the line — and political experts have Republican Tim Pawlenty pegged as the most likely winner. Additionally, because the state’s Democratic Party has swung so widely to the left, there are two House seats that Republicans could steal from Democrats.
And fourth, Gingrich says that voters are responding to the strong and healthy American economy — and they’re going to vote to keep America great.
“However, after the most recent jobs numbers were released last Friday, even the liberal New York Times was compelled to publish an article with the headline, ‘We Ran Out of Words to Describe How Good the Jobs Numbers Are.’ When we have the lowest black unemployment on record in America, something big is happening. When there are more job openings than job seekers in America, something big is happening. When the Federal Reserve is estimating second quarter American economic growth at well over 4 percent (a Reagan era number and more than twice the growth rate of the economy under President Obama) something big is happening,” Gingrich wrote about the booming U.S. economy.
“Americans are beginning to conclude that their lives are getting better, and that President Trump and Republican leadership are a part of that phenomenon.”
