One week after an explosive investigative report detailed allegations of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff hitting his then-girlfriend at an event in France in 2012, more bombshell details of misconduct from Emhoff are bubbling to the surface.
With just weeks until the 2024 presidential election, the sex scandal comes at a bad time for wife Kamala Harris’ campaign.
According to a new Daily Mail report, Emhoff was allegedly routinely “inappropriate” and “misogynistic,” according to his former colleagues when he previously managed the prestigious law firm Venable’s Los Angeles Office from 2006 to 2017.

(Warning: The details of Emhoff’s latest accusations contain graphic language)
According to sources named in the new report, attorneys who worked at the firm accused Emhoff of shouting expletives and “asshole” behavior.
An ex-staffer told The Daily Mail anonymously that Emhoff allegedly bragged to management about how he “put [his secretary] in her place” after telling her to “Get the fuck out of my office.”
In addition to claims of Emhoff’s aggressive language and behavior, other staffers at the law firm also alleged inappropriate and predatory behavior from Emhoff.
According to the new report, a former female staffer alleged that Emhoff was known for being “very flirty.”
“If you weren’t flirty back or didn’t respond positively then you were on his shit list,” she told the outlet.
Another woman who worked at the firm said Emhoff hosted drink nights for men only.
“He had, for many years cocktail parties where only men were invited,” the anonymous source said. “In the office, on Friday evening. When my colleague brought that to the attention of Venable [around 2010], that stopped.”
She also alleged that Emhoff required his colleagues to provide him a cut of new client fees.
Additionally, a former female junior attorney under Emhoff said he favored “young, pretty girls” at the firm.
This is not the first time allegations of misconduct from within the law firm have become public.
According to The Daily Mail report, Marjan Rabbi, a former Venable legal secretary, sued the company and two of its partners in 2021 for alleged sex discrimination. Rabbi claimed in her suit that senior attorneys at the firm shouted at her and “humiliated and demeaned her.”
Emhoff was not a defendant in the case at the time.
Emhoff was the “Partner-in-Charge” of Venable’s LA office when Rabbi joined the firm in 2014 — the same year he married then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris.
One year later, he was promoted to the position of West Coast Managing Director, the Daily Mail noted.
Emhoff recently sat down with MSNBC host Jen Psaki and suggested he “reshaped the perception of masculinity” with his support for his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris.

The slew of allegations against Emhoff came just two months after Emhoff admitted to cheating on his first wife following a bombshell report that alleged he once got their nanny pregnant.
“During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions. I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side,” Emhoff told CNN in August.
