Massachussets Sen. Elizabeth Warren has been under fire for weeks — and now she has committed fraud.
That’s according to NBC reporter Jonathan Allen, who Wednesday said that Warren’s ill-advised DNA test didn’t pan out the way she’d hoped.
Instead of proving she was Native American, the test results were just evidence that Warren was guilty of fraud.
Appearing on “The Bill Press Show”, Allen said that — on many levels — the test just proved Warren committed “some level of fraud” by taking advantage of affirmative action to advance her career.
For decades, Warren said she was Cherokee and used it to advance her career, critics have said. The Washington Free Beacon wrote —
Warren claimed to have been descended from the Cherokee Nation when she contributed to a Native American cookbook from the 1980s, “Pow Wow Chow,” in which she signed her name “Elizabeth Warren — Cherokee.” The senator also listed herself as a minority in an Association of American Law Schools directory, and, in the 1990s, Harvard Law School described Warren, a professor there at the time, as being “Native American.”
Allen says it’s liberals that should be most offended by Warren’s lies.
“The people that are most offended by this are people who believe in affirmation action,” Allen said. “Because they’re like, ‘Elizabeth Warren didn’t need affirmative action.’ She perpetrated some level of fraud, and that hurts affirmative action.”
Ouch.
