Army commander said WHAT about Obama!? (Amen, sir!)

Following the tragic crash of the USS John S. McCain and an oil tanker Monday, retired Lt. Col. Ralph Peters is speaking out.

And he’s says there’s only one man to blame: Former President Barack Obama.

Peters, a Fox News strategic analyst and retired United States Army lieutenant colonel, blamed the rise is naval ship crashes on the lack of training received by Naval officers under the Obama administration.

“The obvious conclusion is the officers on the bridge and the seamen don’t have basic navigation skills,” he told Fox Business Network.

“They no longer are drilled in basic seamanship. They don’t have the discipline they should. I love the U.S. Navy… but it’s in a bad way right now.”

The mismanagement is apparent not only due to the collision of USS John McCain but also the collision of the USS Fitzgerald with a Philippine-flagged container ship two months ago, which resulted in the death of seven U.S. sailors.

Peters specifically called out the Obama administration’s soft policies, saying he turned the military into a “social engineering experiment.”

“Those sailors did not have the basic seamanship skills, but by God, they got their sensitivity, race relations and sexual harassment training.”

“The neglect, the lack of focus that goes into an accident like this is just appalling.”

Peters, a veteran, is well aware of the necessary training needed for military situations, and gives weight to his stark assessment of the Navy’s battle readiness.
