Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and the entire Democratic Party establishment have spent years receiving its marching orders from its leftist base — but now, one of its top allies is in hot water.
For the last two years, Pelosi and the party bowed down to an extremist organization that hid its Marxism under the label Black Lives Matter. At times, Democratic officials literally knelt down when they thought about the BLM.
A lot of Americans were too smart to follow. Some even warned Pelosi against following the party fringe too closely. After all, one of the group’s three co-founders, Patrisse Cullors, admitted in 2015, “We are trained Marxists.”

Pelosi didn’t listen, and huge liberal corporations donated a massive amount of cash to BLM’s coffers.
But now questions are swirling, pressure is mounting, and investigations are closing in on Pelosi’s pals at the BLM. The reason is simple: BLM reportedly took in $90 million in donations. BLM claimed to have about $60 million left last year — and no one can tell who’s accountable for it.
The group hasn’t had a clear leader since Cullors resigned last year after it became known that she had spent millions of dollars buying homes on both coasts.
She named two replacements, but late last year one of them announced that the BLM board wouldn’t let them take their seats because they couldn’t agree on terms… including the “scope” of their authority. That probably includes arguments about whether the other board members would let them oversee those tens of millions of dollars. That announcement raised more questions than it answered.
Who’s running BLM? It’s a mystery.
What happened to the money? Nobody knows.
Who’s going to step up and answer these questions? No one has volunteered so far.

The corruption is so deep that even the Left’s supporters in Big Business, Big Tech, and corporate culture have started cutting ties with them to save their necks.
Amazon is so deep inside the Left’s bubble that it has banned conservative books and authors, and it’s 100 percent on board with BLM… but even Amazon had to kick the global group off its charity list.
AmazonSmile said it “had to temporarily suspend” the BLM’s parent group, Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, from raising money, because it won’t disclose what happened to all the cash it’s received so far.
“States have rules for nonprofits, and organizations participating in AmazonSmile need to meet those rules,” a spokesperson told the New York Post newspaper. “Unfortunately this organization fell out of compliance with the rules in several states, so we’ve had to temporarily suspend them from the program until they come into compliance.”
“Fell out of compliance”? To the outsider, it looks like this BLM parent group just swallowed up the donations and left without leaving a forwarding address.
Is it BLM or FBN—fly by night?
That’s a huge blow. AmazonSmile raised upwards of $300 million for actual charities over the years…including an untold pile of cold, hard cash for BLM. Losing that is a big blow…but it’s not the only one.

States as liberal as Washington and California have banned the BLM from fundraising until its leaders finally start following the law.
The group got hit from so many sides that it erased the huge “donate” button from its website.
“We have immediately engaged compliance counsel to address any issues related to state fundraising compliance,” an anonymous member of the BLM team told the media. “In the interim, we have shut down online fundraising as we work quickly to ensure we are meeting all compliance requirements.”
But how eager is the multimillion-dollar group to set the record straight when it changed the way it makes its financial reports, so it doesn’t have to tell the IRS what happened to its millions for another three months?
Is the BLM trying to get to the bottom of its actions, which give the appearance of financial impropriety?
Is the BLM cooking the books?
Is the BLM asking Democrats to back off long enough for it to get its story straight?
We don’t know — but the BLM organization and its enablers owe a better answer to the corporations and individuals who innocently gave money because they had been shocked by the violent death of George Floyd in May 2020. If Republicans retake Congress in the midterms, they should be sure the American people get that answer.
