House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and her mudslinging of President Donald Trump made headlines this week when Pelosi called the president “morbidly obese.”
Trump’s decision to take an anti-malarial drug, hydroxychloroquine, under a doctor’s supervision as a preventative measure against the coronavirus cause a major backlash in the mainstream media.
Pelosi jumped on during an interview Monday and implied she knew better than White House doctors. Pelosi later said the attack was a “taste of his own medicine.”

The comment went viral… and it even got the attention of Hollywood star James Woods.
Woods, an outspoken conservative, responded to Pelosi on Twitter with a brutal two-word comeback.
“Morbidly corrupt.”

Critics say the Pelosi “obese” comment is an attempt from the Democratic Party to imitate Trump’s unique brand of politics.
The president is known to attack opponents with nicknames: “Sleepy Eyes” for NBC’s Chuck Todd. “Cryin’ Chuck Schumer” for the Senate Minority Leader. “1 percent Biden” for the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate. “Crooked Hillary” for his 2016 presidential rival. Even “Tariff Man” for himself.

Pelosi and the Democrats are trying — and failing — to copy Trump’s brash style, critics say. Biden tried to coin the phrase “President Tweety” when attacking Trump earlier in the week.
