House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi went to a CNN Town Hall to defend the idea of sanctuary cities in front of actual voters.

After watching the video below, it seems leaving her ivory tower was a bad idea.

The crowd was stunned to silence — and even Pelosi was forced to admit that violent criminal illegals “should be deported.”

The exchange comes after President Donald Trump’s executive order last week that will withdraw funding from sanctuary cities that decline to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

Pelosi’s representative city, San Francisco, is suing the administration to maintain it’s funding.

The California city currently receives about $1.2 billion a year in federal funding, which it could lose entirely.
