Against our better judgment, we’ve been watching MSNBC.
Some of the network’s biggest stars appeared outside the Supreme Court on Thursday to provide a running commentary on former President Donald Trump’s legal woes.
However, the MSNBC hosts faced boos and jeers from a Fox News fan.
Behind the hosts, the eminently visible heckler yelled, “Fake news!”
He brought a sign to promote Fox News anchor Steve Doocy. It said, “Steve Doocy: Cool Guy Award.”
“CNN is fake news,” the heckler shouted a few times.
Of course, confusing MSNBC with CNN, a floundering rival, was the greatest insult of all.
The MSNBC commentators played it cool on the ground. They continued talking over the heckler right behind them, and they hardly even acknowledged him.
However, the heckler caught the attention of Joe Scarborough, one of the talking heads in the network’s studio.
From the studio, Scarborough said, “That person screaming ‘fake news’ is obviously talking about all the lies that Donald Trump perpetrated about Hillary Clinton and all of his opponents.”

Trump has claimed presidential immunity from prosecution related to any acts taken in his official capacity as president. In D.C.’s federal court, Trump is under indictment for conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding.
The Supreme Court seemed skeptical of Trump’s argument, but they also seemed open to delaying the case until after this year’s election.
Trump missed the Supreme Court date.
Instead, he appeared in a New York court to defend himself against allegations of falsifying business records to pay hush money.
