MSNBC host Chuck Todd completely lost his cool on Sunday when a Republican Congressman defended President Donald Trump — and footage of Todd’s unhinged meltdown quickly went viral.

Todd hosted guest Rep. Ron Johnson, R-Wis. to talk about Trump and the Ukraine phonecall scandal.

At the start of the interview, Todd attempted to bombard Johnson with Ukraine spin, but Johnson had a defense ready for the media assault.

“Let me first before I start answering all the detailed questions talk about first why I’m pretty sympathetic with what President Trump’s gone through,” Johnson said. “I’m 64-years-old. I have never in my lifetime seen a president, after being elected, not having some measure of well wishes from his opponents, I’ve never seen a president’s administration be sabotaged from the day after the election.”

He then transitioned into the Deep State corruption that the mainstream media has done so well to hide from Americans.

“You’ve got [former CIA director] John Brennan on,” Johnson continued, “you ought to ask director Brennan, what did Peter Strzok mean when he texted Lisa Page on December 15, 2016, quote—.”

Todd interrupted: “What does this have to do with Ukraine!?”

It wasn’t long before Todd melted down into a screaming fit because the interview wasn’t going the way he wanted it to.

Todd accused Johnson of bringing “Fox News propaganda” onto the show.

“I have no idea why Fox News propaganda stuff is popping up on here,” Todd said. “I have no idea.”

“Because this is underlining exactly why President Trump is upset, and why his supporters are upset, with the news media!” Johnson shouted back.

Here Todd became visibly upset and shouted, “Senator Johnson, please!” Todd said. “Can we please answer the question that I asked you, instead of trying to make Donald Trump feel better here that you’re not criticizing him?!”
