Despite recent controversies involving Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, ratings surrounding her 10 p.m. show have skyrocketed — and she’s now beating out MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in key metrics.
Maddow’s show, the top rival to Fox News’ dominance on cable news, competes directly with Sean Hannity at the 9 p.m. slot. The Ingraham Angle, on an hour later, hit a ratings high of 2.77 million viewers and 556,000 in the key 25-46 demographic… while Maddow hit a low of only 2.54 million total viewers and 506,000 in the demographic.
While appearing on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s show, Ingraham discussed her huge rating week.

“You’re number one in cable now, and you’re killing it and I’m happy and proud of you,” Hannity said.
“We can’t do this without this audience and thank God. You know, we lost three quarters of Fox Primetime, and we’re still killing it and we’re number one, thank God, to this audience.”
And it shows, year after year Fox News continues to beat out their liberal competitors for high ratings — because real Americans are sick of CNN, MSNBC and the “fake news” spin.
Just one year after dropping fan-favorite former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, their cable news ratings were not impacted. Instead, Fox News has stayed firmly in the number one spot.
Conservatives continue to dominate the airwaves as liberals trail behind. Maybe one day they’ll learn that spreading fake news not only effects your reputation, but also your ratings.
